PopTrayU monitors your email from the tray. It is a fork of the popular PopTray with more features and support for Windows 10.During installation, you have the options to install Start Menu, Startup, and Desktop icons, languages, and sounds. You can uncheck what you don't want or need. The app is under 20 megabytes so size shouldn't be an issue for most. You also need to choose a folder for storing your settings. Appdata folder is the default, and you can also use the All Users AppData folder or the PopTrayU installation folder if you're unfamiliar with the AppData folders.The interface is well laid out showing who your emails came from, the subject, date, and size.You can preview, delete, reply, mark and more. You can optionally run your email client, check all accounts or send it back to the tray. Very simple to use.On the far right, out of the way, you can find all of your account settings, options, rules and the about section.When you add an account, there's a lot of settings if you need them. After all, all emails accounts are not the same. However, it is as easy to setup an account as it is in any email program. You can set your mail server, username, password, protocol, SSL/TLS, and port. Advanced settings take it even further for those who need it with authentication mode, SSL/TLS version, and STARTTLS. There are also plenty of plenty of IMAP options aimed at checking Gmail. Finally, you can set your email program, sounds and even the option to not check an account during set hours.The options tab we can touch on briefly, but it has anything you could want including some of the options just mentioned. It also has options for intervals, general options, main and previews windows settings to show or not show, rules, whitelist and blacklist, visual appearance, hotkeys and some advanced options that include connection timeout, quick checking and more.PopTrayU expands on an excellent mail monitoring program and makes it even better. While it has a wealth of options and settings it also remains very easy to use.
