Phoyo-ID can import, edit and print official ID photos for passports, government ID's, etc.We recently had to create a photo ID and went to one of the big chain drug stores to get it done. It was affordable and relatively quick but little did we know this could be done at home. We did find that this can also be done at the US Passports & International Travel website, but their photo tool is a Shockwave file that downloads and most of us don't know what we're supposed to do with it once downloaded.Enter the solution - Phoyo-ID. It's portable and simple to use with a Linux-style interface.You will need to make sure your photo ID meets the general requirements of most photo identifications. At least in the United States, these rules are typically generic and similar for all types. Examples of general regulations include the size of the photo and that it's been taken in the past six months, wearing everyday clothes, no glasses or headwear, neutral expression, and more. Again, we've used the rules at the US Passports & International Travel website for our passports and other various state government identification photos.Phoyo-ID can take a photo with your webcam, or you can import a photo. Again, remember you almost always need a recent photo. Once you have your photo, you can make sure it meets the requirements. The Face Frame settings allow you to change the size as well as horizontal and vertical offsets. To be sure that your photo is clear, there are also adjustments for brightness, contrast, temperature, and gray background. If your picture is too far off, you can head to advanced and make some changes. There's plenty of settings for cell settings, page format, and orientation allowing you to set the size and number of photos to print. There's an undo button, but it only undid the last thing we did. We wanted to reset, but the button was there but couldn't be clicked. We had a cell size too big error we couldn't get rid of because we forgot what was changed.Phoyo-ID makes printing an official photo quick and easy while proving enough advanced tools to make sure your photo ID meets the requirements.
