A quote from the article:
First I would like to give a huge thanks to Philips for sending me the Philips 279P1/27 4K LCD Monitor with USB-C to review! Having a USB-C on your monitor is becoming more and more relevant. The major advantage to be able to use an USB-C is the cable is smaller and you can easily hook up a phone, tablet, or laptop. The cord on an USB-C is much smaller than an HDMI or display port cable. Using an USB-C cable is going to be more convenient and minimize the area it takes up between the monitor and the device. And they are usually more flexible. Since the work from home took over so many of us are in need a decent size, reliable, easy on the eyes, and decent specs to be able to perform our work from home. This trend doesn’t seem like it is going away anytime soon either. So with all that Philips has come out with the 279P1/27 monitor. This monitor offer the USB-C connection, 4K resolution, flicker free/lowblue mode, and a cool Power Sensor that reduces the monitors brightness when you step away from the monitor for a while. I just reviewed a keyboard the had a ToF sensor and absolutely love the idea of devices being able to hibernate while I’m not in the immediate area. You can always let the PC hibernate but that I am not a fan of because of background processes shutting down. So with all that being said lets get to the details of this monitor on the next few pages.Philips 279P1/27 4K LCD Monitor with USB-C Review
