Persistent SSH is meant to help keep SSH Tunnels connected and working properly.

SSH Tunnels are useful and secure. Well, they are useful until the connection is lost, for whatever reason, and the tunnel becomes disconnected. The possibility of this occurring happens every day, and most SSH tunnel and standard ssh command line tools do not include a reconnection feature.

While using Windows, the standard option for keeping SSH tunnels operable includes installing Linux tools (starting from SSH itself, Putty, Cygwin, autossh, etc.) and street magic with scripts. Persistent SSH takes the complexity out of the process as it is already compiled and ready to monitor your tunnels and automatically reconnect them if needed. It will also continue to attempt reconnection until it is successful.

Features:

-Keeps your SSH tunnels up and running, if a tunnel is disconnected it performs restart attempts until successful
-Works as Windows service from dusk till dawn, no login needed
-No need to install any additional tools like Putty, Cygwin, autossh, compile or/and configure them and so on. Everything needed is already compiled into Persistent SSH.
-Configuration and monitoring using any modern browsers and devices from anywhere in the world
