Today we are going to check out and review the Patriot P300 M.2 PCIe Gen3 x4 1TB SSD (US version). It uses a Phison PS5013 controller and 96 Layer TLC NAND from Kioxia, but features a DRAM-less design. This is the company’s entry-level NVMe SSD, quite the opposite of the Patriot Viper VP4100, which is a PCIe Gen4 SSD and the fastest that the company has to offer.
