Patch: Info Update For XP HotFix Q820291 - New Icon Location...

The new fix from MS for Windows XP seems to hide more then we thought it would do... Besides I was talking to my friend Olcay from Winfuture.de. He informed me that the new XP fix not only adds a new icon in the new start menu and new help files to the system, it also updates the "Explorer.exe" up to build version 6.0.2800.1221. After installing SP1 it was only 6.0.2800.1106. We don't know what it does exactly, what it fixes or else. But the Explorer seems to be more stable to me.

Update For all those who hoped, the rightclick bug is still there. But there also good news. Many people contacted me and reported a 5sec boot performace boost. Especially before the Welcome Screen appears. Also the patch seems to fix some memory management and application startup problems, because some people report that too. It seems that this patch is better than we thought.

Another user reported that he noticed a faster and more stable Wireless connection to his AccessPoint too.
