Paranoid Shield is a password manager and generator that can help you secure your passwords.
As with any password manager, you need to create a master password on the first run.
The interface is a simple black and white color, which gives it a pleasant appearance. The side navigation features a Menu, Notes, Passwords, Password Generator, and a few settings not yet available.
When you add a password, you can enter the name, URL, login, secondary login, password, and any notes you might need later.
Every password manager should have a password generator to generate a unique or complicated password. The whole point is to have a secure password that you don't even know. Paranoid Shield accomplishes that, complete with a QR code.
Paranoid Shield has a bit of a corporate vibe. While currently freeware, they have a Buy page where you can purchase a lifetime license for $16.99 for a limited time. That tells us they will be going the Freemium or Shareware route in the future.
We like Paranoid Shield as a freeware app, but currently, it's not any better than any of the freeware apps on our top 6 free password managers. The one thing password managers can't do is fill out web forms for you. RoboForm used to, but it broke years ago, and it appears they aren't capable of fixing it.
Paranoid Shield is an excellent freeware password manager, but if they go the shareware route, they're going to need to step up their game.
