OfflineRegistryFinder enables user-defined scanning of Registry files from an external drive allowing you to find specific Registry keys/values/data.
To use OfflineRegistryFinder, all that you need to do is select the folder (you can type up to 3 different folders) containing the registry files from the Registry Search Options then select the search criteria and click OK to start the search. You can also choose a drive letter or shadow copy path in the top combo-box and use the Automatic Fill option to make the process even more simple.
After OfflineRegistryFinder displays the desired search results, you have the option to select one or more items and copy/export them into a .reg file that you can easily use for importing into RegEdit. OfflineRegistryFinder can be used for a Registry scan of your running operating system but by simply creating a Registry snapshot, and then scanning the newly created snapshot will usually work much faster than attempting to search the Registry of a running system.
