From the authors: Sorry for the delayed information everybody, but life has consumed both David and myself and this is a very difficult time for both of us to work on the program.
The official wording is that NVRT2.0 is not compatible with the 41.03 drivers. Nvidia has once again changed how the drivers store the information. It is not a drastic change, and in fact could be fixed in NVRT within 5 minutes of programming time.
However, the question remains that some new items are added to the key that we do not understand what they mean. I have removed them in mine, but I refuse to do that with the program since neither David nor I understand what they are there for.
Our sincerest apologies for the delayed answer, since I'm sure many of you have been wondering what happened. Thankfully 41.03 doesn't seem to have made a big impact on the graphics market as say, 29.42, etc.
As soon as we obtain the information required to ensure what we do will be safe for users, we will release an update.
My notes on 41.03:
It appears as if these drivers are a bit slower in the highest resolution and the highest settings (My quake 3 dropped a whole 10 FPS. While this isn't big for many of you, it is 1/4th of my frame rate with those settings). But yes, they do look quite a bit better than previous detonator versions.
