VR-Zone has done up a review on the latest GeForce FX 5900 Ultra card equipped with 256MB DDR-I memory and clocked at 450/850Mhz core/memory! Here's a byte.
GeForce FX 5900 Ultra is built on the NV35 architecture and packed with several key enhancements such as a wider 256-bit memory bus, a more efficient memory optimization technology known as Intellisample HCT (High Compression Technology), a patent pending UltraShadow technology that calculate shadows much more quickly by omitting unnecessary areas and lastly, an enhanced pixel processing unit that delivers twice as many floating point operations. We have tested out the performance of the GeForce FX 5900 Ultra against the FX 5800 Ultra and ATi Radeon 9800 Pro with and without AA/AF enabled. More interestingly, we checked out the overclocking potential of this card and managed to increase the core/memory clock to 524/957Mhz.
