This just in from Guru 3D: I received a report today from a user that the setup.exe file from nVHardPage contains a virus.
The last NvHardPage archive was compiled early May already and distributed ever since then. Before _any_ software goes online on our servers we always virus-check it. The programmer checked it before he had send in the binaries to us and I myself checked it also back then. We are always so extremely careful with stuff like this.
Yesterday, 4 weeks after the nVHardPage release, Norton discovered a new virus named Backdoor.Lolok.B and inserted it into their virus definition databases. I rechecked the file today and got the same Backdoor.Lolok.B warning as that user reported.
