NT Registry Analyzer provides the ability to analyze the registry and remove/repair remnants left when uninstalling software and hardware.

This utility works by scanning the registry for invalid entries and then allows you to fix them, with a final goal of restoring stability to your machine. You are first required to scan the registry. From there it lists out any entries found to be erroneous. Once the scan has completed, you can hit the fix errors button, and it will ask if you are sure that you want to fix the found errors. You have no option to direct NT Registry Analyzer to a specific location - it is all or nothing.

NT Registry Analyzer will display the registry locations included in the scan proving details like extension handlers, program location, common libraries, COM and ActiveX objects, startup and uninstall section among others. The interface is minimalistic making it easy-to-navigate for even novice users.
