Beta patch version 1.27 for the Operation Flashpoint has been released today. Version 1.27 Public Beta introduces major rework of the network code that should lead to notable improvement of multiplayer performance. There are a lot of bug fixes as well and not forgetting a new 1.27 beta server patch.
This package will install version 1.27 Public Beta to your Operation Flashpoint working directory.
The results of this testing process will be incorporated into version 1.3, which will be part of the official Upgrade 3, to be released in a few weeks.
Naturally, a Beta version will contain bugs and incompatibilities which will be resolved in the final release. In particular, you should bear in mind that it is not possible to mix v1.27 and v1.2 players in a multiplayer game.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
Firstly, ensure the entire contents of an Operation Flashpoint game directory are present on the target server machine. The original directory structure must be maintained, but the files can either be copied from an existing installation, or freshly installed.
*NOTE* The game must have been started at least once, in order to create a Flashpoint.cfg file which will instruct the application to skip the Preferences-setting dialog box. A sample of this file is included in the download package.
The new OFP_Sever exe file should then be copied into the root Flashpoint directory. Run this file to create a dedicated server.
