NetStart lets you choose which applications start when an internet connection becomes available instead of Windows startup.

You can enter a remote address to test, but NetStart automatically detects what has already started with Windows. You can choose whether it begins with the operating system or the internet by dragging and dropping an item to the "With OS" or "With Internet" columns. You can also restrict whether it starts for the Current User or All Users.

Other choices include the ability to run startup files every time the internet becomes available and testing.

NetStart fills a unique niche for those who perhaps have startup items that require the internet, but it's not always available. We could see numerous uses for this, from bandwidth-restricted areas to laptops that aren't always connected to the internet, causing errors at startup. It's well laid out and straightforward to use.
