Nemp is a free portable music player that includes a wide variety of features and functions.
You can organize your music library from within a modern UI that allows you to create playlists, manage lyrics and album covers. As well as edit ID3 tags along with song rating. You can also search for music by name, genre, or song title to build your collection up. Nemp supports all popular file formats. Metadata is read from ID3v1-Tags, ID3v2, Ogg-Vorbis-Comments, Flac Metablocks, and Apev2-Tags and can be modified. On WMA files, the metadata is read but cannot be changed. For CD-Audio, the CD-Text is used and (optionally) freedb.
Nemp will perform folder scans and then compile the music into a manageable media library. It also has a web server that can permit you to control the player remotely from almost any web browser. Nemp can also organize your favorite stations by placing them into the playlist, just like the mp3-files. You can record Mp3 streams, automatically cut and tag them (if the station sends accurate title information).
