Today we are taking a quick look at the Mushkin SWAP 32GB OTG drive. This drive supports USB 3.1 speeds as well as a Type-C connection for hooking up to your mobile device or new laptop / ultrabook that has a USB Type-C connection. The Swap comes in 32GB and 64GB versions and the read speeds are impressive at 180MB/s and 225MB/s respectively. The downside with the 32GB version is the write speeds are a fair bit slower than it's larger sibling. They clock in at 20MB/s and 65MB/s respectively. On the read side of things, the 45MB/s difference isn't all that big of a deal as the read speed of both is fast, but on the write side of the equation, 45MB/s slower than 65MB/s feels like an old USB 2.0 flash drive.
