MSN Messenger 6.0 Final (Proper) Ad Patch

It has come to our attention that users are "borrowing", "copying", and/or "stealing" our (pHaez/vorte[x]) MSN Messenger ad removal routines in the MSN Messenger executables and calling it their own work. It's even more embarassing *cough* rX-182 & MSGPlus! *cough* to see its not done 100%, leaving behind the advertisements in the phone calling window. Yes, we do understand its quite easy to compare executables and generate new patching utilities, and do understand its quite fun to do so for educational reasons, but please keep in mind, we didn't have anything to "compare" against. We're the ones that sat down and ran the program thru a debugger, traced it line by line, and ensured a proper patch was released to the public. All we asked for was a line of credit - This wasn't done, therefore new "anti-theft" measures will have to be incorporated into new patches, if MSN changes their advertisement routines, of course. *hint* Microsoft *hint*. We understand this won't deter the experienced disassembly users out there however, we only target those we like to call "n00bs" as theres nothing to compare, binary wise, to generate patches.
