ThinkComputers.org posted a review on the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Gaming X 6G Graphics Card
A quote from the article:
As expected NVIDIA has launched their GeForce GTX 1660 (non-Ti) graphics card today. With this release they are bolstering their lower-end segment with a new card at the $219 MSRP. Compared to the GTX 1660 Ti we took a look at earlier this week the GTX 1660 features only 1408 CUDA cores (1536 on the GTX 1660 Ti), so about a 9% reduction in cores. The other big change is that the GTX 1660 will feature 6GB of GDDR5 (8GBps) memory, compared to the 6GB of faster GDDR6 (12Gbps) on the GTX 1660 Ti. Just like the GTX 1660 Ti, the GTX 1660 launch is completely partner driven so we do not have a Founder’s Edition card. The card we are taking a look at today is the MSI GeForce GTX 1660 Gaming X 6G. This card is the highest clocked GTX 1660 available from MSI with a GPU Boost clock of 1860 MHz (compared to 1785 MHz reference). It also features MSI’s Twin Frozr 7 cooling solution, a nice bushed aluminum backplate, and RGB lighting. Is this the GTX 1660 card to get?
