Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor, an RPG with various action elements set in the fantasy world of Lord of the Rings, was released in late September. The game's storyline takes place between The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings, so odds are you'll recognize many of the characters that appear in the game from the books or the movie. We tested the game using 21 contemporary GPUs to determine whether it is AMD or Nvidia boards that offer the best performance for this game.
