MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks contains over 200 files, less than 3MB total, including Registry, PowerShell, Visual Basic, Shortcuts, and Batch Files to enable tweaks and many hidden features in Windows 11, 10, 8, and 7 for any skill level. You can browse all of the tweaks individually here.

One neat thing about MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks is that many of these are hidden, removed, or unavailable settings and features in Windows. You can browse the collection, delete or move any tweaks you like, and create a custom collection of your favorite tweaks. Because we're not limited by code, we can offer you system tweaks not found in any other Windows tweaker.

Another interesting feature is opening any file to see what changes are being made and, in some cases, customize before you apply.

There are numerous excellent tweaking programs, but they are limited by design. Often, these apps use mostly registry and command prompt changes allowing us to offer you tweaks that aren't found (Registry, PowerShell, Visual Basic, Shortcuts, and Batch Files) in most tweaking apps. Trust us. We tried!

You can either browse through the files and folders one at a time in file explorer. Or, after version 2.96, you can use the MajorGeeksWindowsTweaks.exe to navigate for you. Written by the super geeky author at Alomware, the interface is just what we needed. It allows you to browse each category in a more friendly manner, search for the tweak you like, preview the scripts prior to applying, apply a tweak, and access the tutorial in just a few clicks. All while keeping the program itself 100% portable. The best way to use the interface is once you unzip the collection, right-click on MajorGeeksWindowsTweaks.exe and choose "run as administrator." This will make your life way easier later.

MajorGeeks Windows Tweaks is now on Github and Sourceforge. Sourceforge and Github users can follow the project and get notified when we update!

Most tweaks are tested in Windows 10 & 11, but many will also work in Windows 7 and 8. As always, be sure to back up your registry first.
