MacDown is an Open Source Markdown editor for macOS, released under the MIT License and influenced by Mou.

Mou decided to stop developing the app and tried to sell it, but the developer of MacDown couldn't afford to purchase it, so he created his own. Got to love it!

Mou heavily influences MacDown, and he tried to mimic its behavior as much as possible both in UI and the logic underneath, only making changes when he felt that improvement was necessary.
