Logitech Unifying Software is a lifesaver if you have Logitech receivers, yet hardware that won't pair wirelessly.

Recently, I had two mice and only one receiver that didn't match. By using the Logitech Unifying Software and my keyboard, I was able to pair a mouse up in minutes and write this review.

Once installed, plug in your Logitech receiver and turn on your Logitech device (keyboard, mouse). Click on Next, and you will be reminded to turn on your device. If your device isn't detected, try unplugging the receiver and plugging it back on or turning your Logitech device on or off. We're also assuming you have good working batteries.

Click on the Advanced tab, and you can find all the diagnostics and troubleshooting you need, including pairing or unpairing devices, updating firmware, device name, battery and device status, and firmware version.

As a geek, I am embarrassed to discover this software, which has been available for over nine years (at the time of this review) while thrilled that the four Logitech mice I own can now all be used.
