Logitech Firmware Update addresses potential vulnerabilities with Logitech’s Unifying receiver and the G900 gaming mouse.

The Unifying receiver allows you to connect multiple compatible keyboards and mice to a laptop or desktop computer with a single USB receiver. The Logitech G900 is a professional-grade gaming mouse. The identified vulnerabilities are complex and would require a hacker to be physically close to their target, making this an unlikely path of attack. But Logitech is still making the updates available out of an abundance of caution.

For the Unifying Receiver - If you have K780 Multi-device wireless keyboard, K375 Multi-device keyboard, wireless touch keyboard K400 plus, MK850 performance or illuminated living-room keyboard K830 connected with your Unifying receiver, the tool will guide you through updating the firmware on the keyboard as well.

This firmware update is being publicized again due to the potential for recently bought products not being patched. Logitech did not initiate a recall of products or components already in the market and supply chain. They made the firmware update available to any customers that were particularly concerned, and implemented changes in products produced later - so if you aren't sure this update will allow you to be.
