I was very happy with my old 8X CDRW. It was not the fastest burner in the world, but it has run well for many years. I paid a lot for it and really didn't want to invest that much money again just to burn CDs. Let's face it. We really do invest a lot of money into computer components when we buy them and the depreciation is terrible.
