Linus Torvalds has announced the fifth release candidate for Linux kernel 6.14-rc5 with the majority of the fix addressing drivers, architecture, filesystem, core networking, and self-testing. Memory leaks, microphone regression, and other issues are addressed in the updates. The update also addresses issues with cross-referencing in documentation, riscv, KVM, and SBI IPI error generation.
