Today I will be reviewing the Lexar SL200 512GB Portable SSD. Portable SSD’s have one of the most must haves. They offer such a huge benefit for transferring files. They have awesome speeds and offer durability that is very important when you are moving the drive around a lot. With this particular model, you can throw it in a backpack or pocket and go on without the fear of losing any data. A portable drive has to be an SSD in my opinion. We had a chance to cover the SL100 Pro a while back and this SL200 is basically the little brother of that model. We have several size options to choose from and the price is a little cheaper than the SL100. That is probably because the SL200 is a tad bit slower and doesn’t sport an entire aluminum frame housing.
