North America's first ever LEGO Hotel will open April 5th in Carlsbad, California. And no, unfortunately it is not made out of actual LEGOS.
In association with LEGOLAND, the LEGOLAND Hotel as it is so creatively called will open this April in Carlsbad, California. The hotel boasts many fine amenities, including HD TVs in all their rooms, a pool, and in house dining accommodations, and, oh, EVERYTHING IS DECKED OUT IN LEGOS!! Well I mean not everything but just about.
You can book a stay in any number of LEGO themed rooms, such as their pirates themed room, jungle room, and others. Giant LEGO creations are around every corner, including a magnificent castle in the lobby.
Rooms start around $200 a night, with regular priced admission to the park around $100 for adults (around $90 for kids 12 and under). Pricey? Yes. Worth it? YES.
