LanPop is a free, portable Lan messenger that has been around since the '90s and still works on Windows 10 but has all but disappeared from the internet.

Once started, LanPop resides in the system tray. Right-click to open the program. You can right-click on the icon for a few quick settings, including sound, on top, popup, about, restore, and exit.

Inside LanPop, you can find color settings, including text, window colors, and fonts.

Additionally, you can find more Options. You can use a popup for messages, change the default sounds or sound an alert, keep window on top, and more.

Overall, if you need a small, simple Lan messenger, LanPop still works great. Just remember that there is no support or updates, so security on a local network can't be guaranteed.
