The application is portable and can sometimes seem slow, but it processes quite a bit of information. You can load your multimedia files from your local PC and import them from some online services, including Amazon, Discogs, gnudb, MusicBrainz, TrackType, and more.

Once loaded, find anything you want to change and make the changes as you would with a text editor, for example.

Once you make any changes, you can apply tags, text encoding, rename directories, number tracks, filters, and more.

You can also edit and convert ID3v2 and ID3v1 tags in your MP3 audio files, which many programs ignore.

As if that wasn't enough, you can also create playlists and play your music as well. It's a well-thought-out program that's one of the best editors we've ever used.

Kid3 currently supports MP3, Ogg/Vorbis, FLAC, MPC, MP4/AAC, MP2, Opus, Speex, TrueAudio, WavPack, WMA, WAV, and AIFF.
