Kdenlive 24.08.0 released

Kdenlive 24.08 has been released, with a bunch of new features and enhancements, especially for Effects and Transitions.The latest update brings a range of improvements and fixes to enhance your experience. Performance in sequence playback and timeline preview rendering has been boosted, ensuring smoother operation. Transcoding issues when importing large amounts of clips have been addressed, making the process more seamless. Additionally, VAAPI transcode profiles have been added, and GPU transcoding for Nvidia has been fixed. Whisper support has been enhanced for both Windows and macOS, and editing issues on all platforms have been resolved. The user interface has undergone a revamp, giving it a fresh and modern look. Easing modes have been introduced for transitions and effects, allowing for smoother and more polished edits. The new Effect Groups feature provides greater flexibility in editing. The transform effect has also been improved, with handles now making adjustments easier and a grid for better monitoring. With over 130 commits, various issues have been diligently addressed.
