JSignPdf is an Open Source application to do the one thing many PDF tools don't - digitally sign a PDF file.
JSignPdf includes a PDF guide, although it seems overly-complicated for basic signing.
You can browse to a PDF file and output file (so you don't damage the current PDF or make a mistake).
Optionally you can add a reason, location, contact, or visible signature.
Click on Advanced Option, and you can find a plethora of options for the advanced user.
You can choose from key alias, input PDF file, PDF encryption, certification level, hash algorithm, and more.
JSignPdf is exactly what we've been looking for for years. The ability to sign a PDf without the need to purchase a bloated PDF suite with features we don't want or need.
