jfPaint is a Java-based paint program built with the JavaForce SDK.
Naturally, jfpaint isn't for everyone. A lot of us geeks simply don't have Java installed for security reasons. Keep this in mind and remember we have hundreds of other free graphics apps in our Graphics category.
jfpaint has a friendly interface with mostly black and white with some red, green and yellow used for some icons. It is multi-tabbed allowing you to work with multiple images at the same time. It can only open JPG, PNG, and BMP.
Some of the many tools included are pencil, line, curve, fill, box, circle, text, substitute, transparency, gradients, and gaussian blur. The latest version also added multiple layers.
Again, jfPaint isn't for everyone, but if you're looking for a simple and easy to use paint program, and you have Java installed, jfpaint is pretty neat.
