They do promise it will be fast, easy to use and more secure. The problem is they don't say how they accomplish this in any way. You can get the source code, but there's no changelog that we could find.
We did find that it was fast and as familiar to use as Google Chrome or any Chromium-based browser.
Another problem is that it comes with add-ons that cannot be modified, disabled or removed, and they're not official add-ons. This requires a leap of faith to use a browser promising to be better.
However, if you want a more secure browser without wasting time figuring out what add-ons you need, then Iridium Browser might be just what you need.
