iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 released
Apple has released iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 for the iPhone and iPad. Downloading these updates is absolutely free and can be done by navigating to Settings > General > Software Update on your device. iOS 18 supports the third-generation 12.9-inch iPad Pro and later, all 11-inch iPad Pro models, the third-generation iPad Air and later, the seventh-generation iPad, and the fifth-generation iPad mini and later. iPadOS 18 is, however, only compatible with the iPhone XR, iPhone XS, and iPhone SE 2 and later. Additionally, Apple has released an upgrade for iOS 17.7 for users who are still using iOS 17.You may now rearrange apps and widgets with open spaces, as well as change the colors of app icons. These are just a few of the new customization options for the Home Screen in iOS 18. Control Center now supports multiple pages, third-party developer controls, and the option to install controls on the Lock Screen, among other new features. In Messages, you can now schedule texts, use Tapback with any emoji, and add new text effects. Highlights, Distraction Control, Photos, Maps, and AirPods Pro are among the additional features featured.
