Identify the processor inside a PC, assuring the processor contains intended technologies.
The Intel Processor Identification Utility was developed by Intel Corporation to identify the processor inside a system, assuring the processor contains intended technologies and is operating at the tested and rated frequency intended by Intel Corporation. The utility is designed to identify the new generation of processors, and processors going forward, starting with Pentium 4 (in contrast to the Intel Processor Frequency ID Utility, which identifies Intel processors manufactured prior to the introduction of the IntelĀ® Pentium 4 processor).
