Intel press release says "Intel Corporation today delivered four new desktop chipsets that bring advanced levels of performance, reliability and flexibility to PC users who demand a richer digital media, gaming and broadband experience. ....." (contd) The enhanced IntelĀ® 850E chipset and the new Intel 845GE, 845PE and 845GV chipsets are available in PCs starting today. All of these chipsets will support Intel's groundbreaking Hyper-Threading (HT) Technology**, which enables software programs to run as though there are two processors available with only one processor physically in place.
