ImageBatch is a freeware image converter that can currently convert PEG, PNG, GIF, and BMP and much more.

ImageBatch can not only convert, but you can set the quality to original or specify a percentage. Even better, you can add a watermark text or image, flip, rotate, and crop.

The app is portable, and everything is laid out, so everything is easy to understand and use. Select your input and output directories and choose file types and all of the options mentioned above.

A special section is dedicated to Resize parameters. By default, everything is left as is but you can choose a fixed width and height.

ImageBatch requires the Visual C++ Runtime libraries. We received the side-by-side configuration error and had to install the Visual C++ Runtime Installer twice to get ImageBatch to run correctly.

Image processing is fast, probably faster than it takes to choose your options. ImageBatch is free, portable and has plenty of choices that make it worth using.
