When you load your image, you are greeted with just the image no visible menus, toolbars, or any other bloat. By default, even the window title bar is hidden when you don't need it, leaving just a thin black border around the image. There are also many handy and practical user interface tricks like hitting Ctrl–Alt–X to close all image windows. All features can be accessed via the right-click context menu. You can rotate the image, assign hotkeys, copy it to the clipboard, etc.
