We take a quick look at Howl, a turn-based tactical puzzle game from Mi'pu'mi Games set in a dark fairytale world featuring watercolor-styled visuals. Players are encouraged to plan their moves ahead to make the most of limited actions available to them per turn in order to defeat terrible beasts and rescue survivors across 60 levels.

The turn-based puzzle gameplay in Howl starts out simple, and gradually increases in difficulty as you encounter more beasts to defend against and more survivors to save. Figuring out which moves to make is a fun challenge, and you can use the Undo Round feature to go back a turn if you make a mistake. Sometimes waiting or not using all your available actions is the best move!
