hostsmgr is a command-line app for sysadmins and other peoples who need to auto-update their HOSTS file.
hostmgr isn't for everybody but is intended for sysadmins or advanced users who need to auto-update their HOSTS files. End users will want to choose a more user-friendly application from our HOSTS File editors.
You'll only need to know three Command line switches:
/ip - ip address to be set as resolve for all domains (default: 0.0.0.0)
/path - "hosts" file location; env. variables and relative paths are supported (default: current directory)
/os - new line format; "win" for Windows (crlf), "linux" - for Linux (lf), "mac" for Mac OS (cr)
/nobackup - do not create backup copy for "hosts" file
