HomePod Software 18 released
Apple has made HomePod Software 18 available for the HomePod and HomePod mini. This version features support for spatial audio settings, a new SharePlay tool, and the ability to choose a Home Hub. This allows numerous users of Apple Music to share management of playlists and the ability to add music to them. Apart from the automated installation on the HomePod, the Home app allows one to manually upgrade the software.
