GoPC Backup 5.3
GoPC Backup is a simple, Open Source app designed to back up your virtual machines, but it can also clean and make backups of any Windows PC.
While that description seems odd, the developer created the backup app for his virtual machines, later realizing that it can work the same in Windows. However, while using the app, you will notice some specific Virtual Machine options, something most backup apps don't do.
GoPC Backup will create a folder on your desktop during installation. After that, you can go through the initial setup step-by-step.
Select a folder to backup to.
Select a backup output filename and archive location.
Select additional backup devices.
Select a daily backup time.
Finish setup and create your first backup.
All settings can be changed later by accessing the icon shortcuts in the lower-left corner.
A help section is available in the top-left corner, including command-line arguments.
There aren't a lot of truly free or Open Source backup apps available, so if you need to back up your PC or virtual machine files automatically, GoPC Backup might just be the one you're looking for.
