Gigabyte confirmed to the press that their upcoming Z490 motherboards are compatible with PCI-Express Gen 4. Shortly after that leak, our sources have also confirmed that ASRock and MSI marketing materials (which are still under embargo) also list PCIe 4.0 readiness. This obviously means that PCIe 4.0 is supported by the motherboard, but the 10th Gen Core CPUs are simply not ready to provide the lanes.
