"Build from the same DNA as the GTX 680" - so umschreibt NVIDIA den Aufbau der GeForce GTX 670 und trifft damit ins Schwarze.

Anandtech: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 Review Feat. EVGA: Bringing GK104 Down To $400
In a typical high-end GPU launch we’ll see the process take place in phases over a couple of months if not longer. The new GPU will be launched in the form of one or two single-GPU cards, with additional cards coming to market in the following months and culminating in the launch of a dual-GPU behemoth. This is the typical process as it allows manufacturers and board partners time to increase production, stockpile chips, and work on custom designs.

techPowerUp: Palit GeForce GTX 670 JetStream 2 GB
Palit's GeForce GTX 670 JetStream comes with a decent overclock out of the box and uses the company's dual fan JetStream cooler which provides improved temperatures despite the overclock out of the box. With a price increase of only $20 over the reference design, the card seems a good choice if you want just a bit more.

Techspot: Gainward GeForce GTX 670 Phantom Review
After many months of talking up its latest architecture, Nvidia reclaimed the single-GPU performance crown with its GeForce GTX 680, which outpaced the Radeon HD 7970 by about 7% in our tests. Kepler's arrival forced AMD to slash prices across its Southern Islands lineup, including a $70 drop on the HD 7970, putting it at $479 or about 4% cheaper than the GTX 680's MSRP of $499.

HotHardware.com: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 Reviews, EVGA and Gigabyte
Hot on the heels of the impressive, dual-GPU powered GeForce GTX 690, which launched just a few short days ago, NVIDIA is already back with a much more affordable Kepler variant featuring a slightly pared down GK104 GPU. What's perhaps most interesting to all of you though, is that this new card will offer near-GeForce GTX 680 performance, at prices starting under the $400 mark.
The new GeForce GTX 670 we'll be showing you here today sports the very same chip that powers the high-end GeForce GTX 680 and 690, but with a few shader cores disabled. The cards will sport a more compact design and a few other tweaks as well...

PureOverclock: Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce
Nvidia is looking to continue the Kepler success we saw in the GTX 680 with today's launch of the GTX 670, the latest card in the Kepler arsenal. Sharing the same DNA as the flagship GTX 680, this new card is poised to offer the same innovations, but at $100 lower, to be a bit more accessible to gamers who aren't quite well-heeled enough for the flagship card. One of those custom cards is the Gigabyte GTX 670 Windforce, a sleek behemoth that sports a triple-fanned cooler, increased Base Clock speeds, and a Boost Clock potential that appears to be second to none. What you really need to know is this card runs cool like the underside of your pillow on a hot summer night. And fast enough to knock your current graphics card back into last year.

Hi Tech Legion: Gigabyte GeForce GTX 670 Windforce 3X OC 2GB DirectX 11 Video Card Review
The Gigabyte GTX 670 comes factory overclocked with a 980MHz base clock and a custom PCB as well as heatsink design. The Gigabyte GTX 670 video card is outfitted with the Windforce 3X cooling system comprised of a DHT heatsink with the patent pending Triangle Cool technology design, RAM heatsink plate and three ultra-quiet PWM fans which not only effectively lower GPU temperatures but barely produce any noise as well. Armed with 1344 CUDA cores and 2GB of GDDR5 on a 256-bit bus, the Gigabyte GTX 670 video card is capable of delivering next-generation GeForce performance that leaves the competition in the dust.

OCC: NVIDIA GTX 670 Review
The GTX 670, when run at the default speed setting, showed a nice increase in clock speed above the 980MHz GPU Boost clock speed in many games with as high as 1097MHz on the GPU core or 100MHz over the default boost clock. This is because the GPU was staying underneath the 100% power target. Still a clock speed of 1231MHz (as high as 1245MHz) is over 300Mhz faster than the base clock speed on the GK104 core and 138MHz higher on the GDDR5 memory (6552MHz QDR). When running through the benchmark suite with the GTX 670 overclocked we saw measurable gains in performance across the board in each game tested.

PC Perspective: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670 2GB Graphics Card Review - Kepler for $399
While the graphics power found in the new GeForce GTX 690, the GeForce GTX 680 and even the Radeon HD 7970 are incredibly impressive, if we are really honest with ourselves the real meat of the GPU market buys options much lower than $999. Today's not-so-well-kept-secret release of the GeForce GTX 670 attempts to bring the price to entry of the NVIDIA Kepler architecture down to a more attainable level while also resetting the performance per dollar metrics of the GPU world once again.

Vortez: NVIDIA GTX 670 Review
The GTX670 is heavily based on the GTX680, having a very similar core that while trimmed back from the flagship GTX680, still retains its Kepler foundations. With 7 SMX units, one less than the GTX680, the GTX670 still carries 1344 CUDA cores. The GTX670 also inherits the GTX680's memory subsystem configuration of 8x256MB modules (2GB) which are kept in check by four 64-bit memory controllers making a 256-bit memory interface. The baseclock of the GTX670 is set to 915MHz with a typical GPU Boost speed of 980MHz depending on load conditions. This along with a 6008MHz memory data rate makes for some impressive figures which will hopefully be translated to our screens in terms of performance.
