Geany Portable is an Open Source text editor that uses Scintilla and GTK+ and is designed for programmers and web developers. Installer, Linux, and Mac versions are also available.

Geany Portable comes equipped with path-based compiler support, allowing you to quickly locate the necessary compiler for your programming language. Additionally, you can configure GTK-based theming to customize the appearance of Geany to match your favorite theme. Syntax highlighting can also be customized to your preference by configuring it manually or downloading a user-contributed theme from Geany.org. Lastly, Geany Portable includes a variety of plugins to enhance your experience within the app.

Geany Portable is primarily designed for programmers, although anyone can use it as a text editor. It supports several programming languages, such as C++, C, Java, Python, PHP, HTML, CSS, and others. The top tabs include the usual suspects, such as File, Edit, View, Project, Build, Tools, and Help. Additionally, it has buttons with shortcuts to Revert, Compile, Build, Execute, Color Chooser, and more.

We're not programmers and have never portrayed one on TV, so we won't pretend to impress you with our programming knowledge. However, we believe that programmers and web developers will appreciate the features that Geany Portable provides.
