FreeDriveC can free up drive space and provide shortcuts to common functions and settings using Windows tools.The main windows of FreeDriveC has shortcuts to Hibernation, Virtual Memory, System Protection and the Windows Disk Cleanup Tool. Each of these can clean up drive space and some are often overlooked. On my relatively clean install of Windows 10, Hibernation and Virtual Memory alone could free up over 3 GB.At the bottom of the app, you can find shortcuts to Disk Optimizer, Computer Management, Uninstaller, Security, and System configuration. Again, all settings you might commonly access.The status bar at the bottom shows your current hard drive size and the percentage of free space remaining.FreeDriveC was a tough call for MajorGeeks. We expected a drive cleaner that might compete with CCleaner or Wise Disk Cleaner. It can't compete with them but is useful for someone who needs to access commonly used Windows tools and adds a few that are often forgotten by the competition including hibernation and virtual memory. FreeDriveC was primarily designed for to get quick access to common settings after a clean install or upgrade of Windows and we think techs who frequently install windows might find it useful.
