FolderWasher 2.20
FolderWasher helps you remove invisible files created during file transfer between Mac OS X and Windows.
Initially designed to delete invisible DS files created by Mac OS X, FolderWasher is a lightweight app that helps you keep your directories clean. It makes it easier to find the data you need faster by removing annoyingly visible files when copying folders from Mac to Windows and vice versa.
FolderWasher is a simple tool that helps you deal with the Desktop Service Store files that become visible when you move files to a Windows machine. The same thing happens when transferring directories from Windows to Mac OS X, but the equivalent file is named Thumb.db.
FolderWasher can delete all files whose names start with a period, as well as some special invisible files created by Windows, such as Thumb.db and desktop.ini. You can add files that you don't want to delete to the exceptions list. Additionally, FolderWasher can zip folders to prevent the operating system from automatically creating deleted invisible files.
Deleted files in Mac are moved to trash, but in Windows, they are permanently deleted. Make sure you have a restore point if you encounter any issues.
