Emsisoft Decryptor for DeadBolt allows you to decrypt files encrypted by the DeadBolt ransomware strain.

DeadBolt encrypts QNAP devices using AES-128 and appends the extension ".deadbolt."

Run the decryptor as an administrator. You will be prompted to enter your 32-character key. NOTE: this decryptor requires a key received after paying the criminals.


By default, the decryptor will pre-populate the locations to decrypt with the currently connected drives and network drives. Additional locations can be added using the Add button.

Decryptors typically offer various options depending on the particular malware family. The available options are located in the Options tab and can be enabled or disabled there. 8.
