This time we took Eizo's CRT Business Line top model to the test. CRT monitors still offer significant advantages compared to LCD flat screens when it comes to fast moving pictures e.g. when watching DVD's or DivX videos or when it comes to gaming. This advantage has its origin in the delay time that LCD crystals need to adjust themselves when stimulated by electric impulses which results in a blurry image when displaying fast moving content. The Eizo Flexscan F931 with it's 31.0kg weight is certainly one of the bigger if not one of the biggest competitors in the CRT monitor market but in our opinion is one of the most desirable one's because of it's excellent technological features like the capability to display a resolution of 1600 dots x 1200 lines flicker-free at 104 Hz which is most ergonomic and eye pleasing or the ability to connect two PC's to the monitor. If you now feel like your old 17'' CRT monitor has grown of ages maybe it's time to head for a bigger one. Warp 2 the review
