The idea behind Edge Remover is to make the process of removing the files associated with Edge quicker and more straightforward. Edge Remover does all the heavy lifting for the removal process, making it a good choice for any type of user. (Edge WebView will not be removed in this script. Also, EdgeUpdate is not removed because of updating of Edge Webview, and it doesn't download Edge.)

There is no UI with the current version; run the exe as admin, and a console-like display pops up, and it will notify you when it's finished. Previous versions did include a UI, but the dev opted to simplify the script for optimal performance.

As with any app that removes items from the system, it is always a good idea to have a backup or restore point beforehand.

Edge Remover will help Windows users remove Microsoft Edge Chromium and Edge UWP from their devices with relative ease. We also tested re-installing Microsoft Edge after using Edge Remover and did not experience any issues.
